Has it happened that you are in LAN and some guys are connected to your Network and utilising entire bandwidth? Its very common problem that you want to work and search web or push to git but due to network issues you are unable to do so. This issue was constantly irritating me over the last couple of days, as I was on a very exciting project but was unable to continue due such a$$-h013s.

  • 27 Sep 2016 » Days at Tech Mahindra

To be vaguely precise, nobody is happy with what they are doing, I can say I am a workaholic but, those who claim must ask themselves, do they really love work?, or are proud to be called Workaholic?, and the obvious answer would be everyone need some time to enjoy, and that’s the very direction I don’t want anybody to be on my side.

  • 09 May 2016 » Ubuntu Wallpaper Changer

This question was their in my head for a long time, and now i have finally sorted it out. Oops! I forget to tell you about my question, How does one can change desktop wallpaper without using any third party resource like variety. Now that I have finally figured it out that how does it takes place, i have written a beautiful script in shell to do so, which not only changes the wallpaper at certain time but also downloads the wallpaper in a specific directory.

  • 28 Jan 2016 » Learing at FCC

When you are learning something new, and implementeing it at the same time, the experience is quite exciting and thrilling. This is what I experienced while coding for the purpose of learning at FreeCodeCamp (from here on I would refer it as FCC for the sake of simplicity). At FCC you are, as described by them, will be trained for 2080 hours obtaining certification for Front End Development Certification, Full Stack Development Certification, etc and work on some non-profit live projects. The figure “2080” is quite big but if you get started and have a little patience it can be easily be completed in 3-4 months time each day just 3-4 hours of rigreous coding.

  • 20 Jan 2016 » Deadly Linux/Unix Commands

These commands are highly likely to disrupt the normal functioning of a working Linux/Unix Distros, It is expected from the READER not to try them as they may cause loss to someone else. Please keep in mind these command must be experimented on, for the sake of curiosity on virtual machine or an old Linux Box which has no use.

  • 22 Nov 2015 » Building a Jekyll Based Website

If you don’t mind getting your hands on “HTML-like” type of code and looking around for a way to launch a simple blog website paired with free hosting, then Jekyll should definitely be on your evaluation list. It’s open-source, text based and follows baking CMS principle by generating a static site from pre-written markup files. Pair it with free hosting from GitHub Pages, comments from Disqus and you have yourself a very flexible blogging platform without required dependencies on a database and third party module/plugins.

  • 21 Nov 2015 » Grub Rescue Finally Conqured

This is for those who have intentionally and unintentionally messed up their dual boot machine. This happens a lot to those who use Windows and Linux on a single machine and when they install or update Windows without knowing that they could loose their Linux box.

  • 07 Nov 2015 » Grive2-Google Drive on Linux

After a long time I have finally decided to write about whatever I do, so that I can have a copy of whatever awesome things that I usually come across. So here it is, In Ubuntu 13.04, I had used Google Drive using grive. But since then I have changed my environment to Pantheon which is usually shipped with [elementary os], and i would say it has blown my mind off. But still it has took a heavy toll on me for installing all the packages and everything, the experience was awesome and i enjoyed it.

  • 27 Apr 2015 » Debian 8 Arrived, Mankind in Shock

From last two days the mankind is ripped by the uncontrolled forces of Nature. Himalayas and people living there are the victims of this devastating destruction. The 9.3 Magnitude earthquake on Sat.25.April caused havoc in Nepal, and its neighbouring places. Death tolls have raised from 1500 to 4000 last reported today. The aftermath of this tragedy is not over yet, two more shock waves were observed afterwards. The kin and relatives of the deceased are also dead, the cremation centres are full. The plight is still not over because this is the scene of just some of the known places, there are also some places which are yet to receive the medic aid and rehabilitation facilities. The condition may become worse if mankind does not come forward with open arms and help. If we see the previous earthquake that rippled Japan, the restoration work only lasted a month and Japan was back on his foot. The restoration work should be carried out in such a way that it essentially helps and prevent more caualities.
